The holidays are coming in just a couple short months; this book is the perfect gift for dragon lovers, book lovers, and especially dragon-book lovers. It’s written to stand completely on its own without needing the context of the main archives, so no need to force your friend or loved one to read a webcomic in order to enjoy it!

I’ve probably been asked for this story more than any other, and at last, the tale that closes the gap between Eryl’s prologue and main story is here. What exactly happened after Sarah rescued Sleet and Arra? How did she raise two dragons alone, and how did the village finally come to know about it? Unlike most stories about raising dragons, which tend to be rousing adventures full of evil sorcerers and learning to fly, this is a much more grounded tale about life, loss, and motherhood, written in diary format as Sarah chronicles a decade-long struggle.
Content Warnings: The story includes themes of death and prejudice, and may be especially triggering for folks who are sensitive about themes of child, animal, or life-partner deaths.

Sarah’s Journal is a limited-time paid exclusive. The free web version will be released in early 2022.

This book has been over a year in the making. It’s been an absolutely massive amount of work since I began writing it in July of 2020: editing, illustrations, layouts, sending it out to betas for feedback, assembling the ebook files, designing the bookmarks and stickers, and coordinating everything with the printers. But it was worth it; the end result turned out better than I had ever imagined.
