Save Frequently
Okay, this one didn’t really happen, but it’s a common fear of mine. Poor reby is a little accident prone, and I fear for the safety of my possesions. Especially after she overturned the fishbowl. Fortunately the fish survived, but I didn’t ever let her near them again.
Been there before, hate it when it happens, especially when playing MorrowWind. 15 minutes at a time and then it crashes, apparently it has to do with the sound card. Seen it happen just as bad for my GF, and losing everything on a picture is not pretty.
Even worse when it happens on a painting you’ve been working on all night… -_-* Although Reby can attest to the fact that losing game data also sucks.
This happened twice in med school, although both times it was my cat. Once, she stood on top of my computer with her paw on the power switch (Thank you HP for putting the switch RIGHT ON TOP OF THE CASE) which forced a power-off, and the second time she stepped on the power switch of my surge suppressor and shut down everything.
Oh dear! Usually when I lose work it’s because the programme crashed or the file got corrupted.
