Teze

Though he is quite old, Teze looks like he’s twelve. He acts like it, too. He used to be on the Council (we have yet to discover what kind of council this is), but was demoted, supposedly to his lax manner and immaturity. He is now a secretary, working through massive amounts of paperwork. In other words, he does what no-one else wants to deal with. However, he has recently been entrusted with an important assignment along with Tienar.

Tienar

Tienar is the best messenger at the Council’s disposal. He is fast and reliable, and often the envy of others of his kind due to both his good looks and because he is so trusted by the Council members. He looks to be around eighteen, though his real age is unknown. He has been temporarily relieved of his messenger duties and reassigned to a top-secret mission with Teze.

Fawna

Fawna is a young vixen from a forest called Oakwood in England. A year before the story, she was shot and nearly killed by a human hunter. She lost all her memories prior to the incident. She was rescued by a white wolf named Snow and a golden eagle named Scree. She is very kind and loyal, and would stay out of trouble if not for the encouragement of Flowerlark. Unlike most foxes, she doesn’t like to eat squirrels, but prefers to befriend them.

Flowerlark

Flowerlark is Fawna’s best friend and both an incredibly manipulative and very mischievous squirrel. She’s very lazy and takes advantage of others whenever possible, often without meaning to- it’s just second nature. Despite all this, she has a good heart.

Eclipse

Eclipse is Flowerlark’s twin sister. She’s very vindictive and has a nasty personality. She spends most of her time angry at Flowerlark and trying to think of any way possible to exact revenge on her lazy sister.

Snow

Snow is an old grey wolf- so old that his fur has gone completely white. He is very kind and patient, and is like a father to Fawna. He cares for her, tells her stories, and generally defends her against Scree.

Scree

Scree along with Snow is Fawna’s caretaker. This golden eagle is very strict with Fawna. He is not a very pleasant bird to be around and has a holier-than-thou attitude towards others, yet is very obsequious to any who are above him.

Places

Oakwood: A forest primarily made up of deciduous trees- oaks being the most prominent- that lays on the outskirts of a growing suburb in England. It is where our story begins.
