About the Author

Hello, my name is Leah Colagiacomo, though I prefer to be called just ‘Lee.’ I am an artist and writer who plunges themselves into more projects than can be sanely handled, and this is my fourth comic. I never considered myself particularly funny. In fact, I’m overly serious and cynical, but one day I found myself doing funny comics for a college publication just because everyone thought I should and I was tired of being nagged about it. A couple years later I started this monster, Epic Fail, because my abiding love of video games forced me into it. Three years later the archive is pathetically small and the voices in my head have taken the place of all the nagging college people and are telling me to update it again.

About the Comic

Epic Fail is a video game humour comic (mostly centred around Nintendo games) consisting of one-shot funnies about different games I’ve played. Since I usually only play Zelda, Okami, Pokémon, Harvest Moon, and Rune Factory (along with many DSi Downloads) the current subject matter is of fairly narrow scope. However, if you enjoy any of said games, then I hope you will also enjoy my insanity lovely comic. When it comes to the artwork, I like to mimic the art style of the game. The art is all over the place- either overdone or half-baked. I am now striving for ‘overdone’ for all future updates, but sometimes I wonder why I bother when no-one really cares about fancy art when they’re laughing at my genius masterpieces of comedy reading a funny comic. Updates are extremely sporadic and infrequent, though I am trying to rectify the ‘infrequent’ part.
