Chapter: Chapter 5: Fledging
You might be thinking this page is 3 days late right now. I CAN EXPLAIN.
See, this week Tuesday got a bit confused. Maybe it hit its head on something, or maybe it had a befuddlement jinx placed on it. Either way, Tuesday forgot that it’s the third day of the week, and instead believed it was the sixth. Therefore it stumbled into Friday’s usual time slot.
Silly Tuesday.
But I’m sure by next week Tuesday will remember its proper place and appear where it should, right after Monday.
Tuesday has always been like that. Kinda ditzy. Got to keep your eye on it at all times. (Of course, Friday and Saturday aren’t much better, always off partying, Monday can barely drag itself out of bed to get anything done, and Thursday spends all its time being jealous of Friday. Really, Wednesday and Sunday are the only responsible ones of the family.)
I dunno, Wednesday is hump day. I’m not sure anything with ‘hump’ in it could be classified as responsible. I mean, look at Humpty Dumpty. Was it responible to teeter on the edge of a wall and then splat so badly the royalty and their steeds had to come to assist? No way. Sunday stands alone as a beacon of virtue. Or the end of weekend homework procrastination, anyway.
