Pokémon Sculpture Requests-WIP

Soooo, quite a while ago (like… a year ago) I took on some Pokémon sculpture requests where I would make the Pokémon that the first few people asked for. I cut it off at 7 because that seemed a reasonable and entirely manageable amount. I got the first three done in fairly short order…

But the remaining four sat on my to-do list for quite some time (honestly, I had just forgotten all about them for months and months).

BUT NOW I HAVE REMEMBERED WITH A VENGEANCE.

I’ll be painting them starting tomorrow, and my goal is to have them finished by the end of the week.

Halloween Craft: Stocking Pumpkins

Me and Mum decided to do a halloween craft today: stuffed pumpkins made from orange stockings. They turned out rather cute. Mum’s is the right-hand almost picture perfect one. The left is my much messier attempt (Mum is far handier with crafts than me ).

Also, to any moms and kids (or adults, too, in our case XD) looking for a fun craft, I scanned the instructions to this, which you can see below (just click the thumbnails to enlarge). These were taken out of a somewhat ancient magazine called Country Marketplace Presents: Crafty Kids.

Dreaming Dragons

Quite a while ago during a visit, my best friend Reby expressed glee at a little blue clay dragon I had made to sell on Etsy. She said, ‘Wow! I would want one in every colour!’ So instead of selling it (I never did get around to making an Etsy account, anyway. ) I proceeded to make 6 more dragons- one for every colour. I gave it to her just earlier today. It went over VERY well. :3

Well, it only seemed to take 2 speedpaints before I got my inspiration for art back and I’m now busily making more Ashes pages for you all, leaving no leftover creative energy for speedpaints. I’ll still try to do them when I can, but I really want to build my buffer back up. Maybe someday I can even get the comic up to 2 updates per week!

Scree is shocked at my inability to keep a sketch diary for more than 2 days.

Today’s Sketch Diary entry. Tigers are so strong and fierce, yet their existence in this world hangs on a thread. This also is how I feel myself. Mentally I am very strong and fierce; there are few who can match my willpower. And yet, my body is fragile. My life is fragile, as is the life of every human being- whether they realise it or not.
