Zelda has always managed to be a good consistent action/adventure game. I don't know how I've managed to buy almost every Pokemon game since Blue. Even though they don't change too much they sure do manage to be good entertainment. If you ever get a chance to get a hold of a PS2 (they're dirt cheap now) get the game Shadow of the Colossus. It is a real time game like most of the Zelda series, except instead of spending lots of time hunting down items and fighting minions you hunt down the colossi. They're a lot like a giant moving puzzle that tries to squish you while you climb all over them, it's great! Check it out on gamefaqs.com or something if ya want to know more.
